Craig White currently leads the Accounting and Finance team at ClearPlan in the Interim Chief Financial Officer role. He has led the team in all the financial reporting and cash areas since December 2020 and prior was a Financial and Risk Advisor for the company starting in March of 2020.
Before his time at ClearPlan, he spent 36 years at Bridgestone in a variety of roles, his last as the Executive Director of Audit for Bridgestone Americas. In this role he directed the audit activities for the worldwide team ending his career where it started as an auditor. Since his retirement he continues to take part in the companies Audit Committee as a Board observer. Prior to his last audit role, he was Chief Financial Officer for the retail division of Bridgestone one of their largest operating units. He achieved the CFO role after working within and on a number of larger acquisitions the company made in the 1990 and early 2000’s. After moving into Finance, he had more than ten years of promotions expanding beyond the boundaries of a traditional financial executive by taking on several strategic initiatives that had a positive impact in multiple business areas, driving down cost, increasing revenue, improving internal controls, and significantly improving the overall performance of the various business units. Craig has evaluated and played a leadership role in several business transactions including significant acquisitions and expansion of existing business, along with removal of non-performing units at higher-than-expected returns. His “out of the box” financial wherewithal allowed the company to expand profitability and improve effectiveness of operations at levels higher than budget and expectation.
Craig holds a master’s degree Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law and Management Administration from Pennsylvania State University.
Craig resides in Tampa Florida with his wife Karen, of 34 years after raising their two daughters and son in various parts of Florida and Pennsylvania, starting in the Pittsburgh area. Craig enjoyed coaching his children’s basketball, football, and softball teams over the years. He currently spends his free time golfing and watching football, along with traveling and visiting his grandkids in the Atlanta area.
