David is a seasoned program finance professional with deep expertise in Earned Value Management and a strong specialization in Deltek Cobra. Since joining ClearPlan in 2017, he has led nearly 200 Cobra migrations and implementations for a wide range of commercial and government clients - delivering solutions that scale from small projects to large, complex programs. He currently serves as a ClearPlan manager where he leads a diverse team of Program Planning and Controls professionals in Huntsville, Alabama. David began his career at Lockheed Martin in 2012, where he built a solid foundation in program controls and financial reporting. He is an expert in all major finance deliverables, including the CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR, and CSDR. David enjoys helping others deepen their knowledge of Cobra and enabling teams to harness its full potential for accurate, actionable analysis. He studied finance at the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is also a Deltek University Certified Cobra Professional - Advanced level. David lives in Madison, Alabama with his wife and three children. Originally from North Texas, he's a lifelong Dallas sports fan and currently channeling his competitive spirit into extra games of pickleball - while still recovering from the Luka Dončić trade.
